4,770,786 $OORT removed from circulation in June and July.

The numbers are in for June and July 2026.

Under the Equilibrium Burn framework, 2,385,393 $OORT was burned through miner license activity across June and July. The Foundation matched every token, 1:1, from the dedicated 30,000,000 $OORT allocation — bringing the combined total removed from circulation to 4,770,786 $OORT.

For the May 2026 burn update, read here.

How Equilibrium Burn Works

Equilibrium Burn is a community-proposed, community-driven framework — passed via governance vote — that reduces $OORT's circulating supply through a miner-and-foundation matching system. Every $OORT burned by miners through Deimos license activity triggers an equal burn from the Foundation's 30M allocation. The network sets the rate. The Foundation follows.

The 30M allocation doesn't burn on a schedule. It only burns when miners do.

What Comes Next

We'll continue publishing monthly burn updates as the 30M allocation is drawn down. When the allocation is fully executed, the community and Foundation will evaluate impact and draft a Phase 2 proposal based on where the network is at that point.

The mechanism is live. The numbers are on-chain.

Stay focused.
