New York, March 7, 2025 - OORT, the trailblazer in the decentralized AI era, announced today that the OORT Foundation has launched its second incubator and accelerator grant, which inaugurated in 2024, at $1 million to support developers and projects building on OORT’s technology, fostering a thriving decentralized AI (DeAI) ecosystem. The first recipient of this grant is DeTaSECURE, a leading cybersecurity and AI security firm, which is also partnering with OORT on the Open Validation Framework (OVF).
The OORT Foundation DeAI Ecosystem Grant is designed to fund and accelerate projects leveraging OORT’s decentralized infrastructure, including OORT DataHub and OORT AI. This initiative aims to attract innovators from around the world, enabling them to build cutting-edge DeAI applications while ensuring data privacy, model transparency, and security.

The Open Validation Framework (OVF), co-developed by OORT and DeTaSECURE, leverages OORT DataHub and EigenLayer’s restaking infrastructure to ensure transparent, verifiable, and economically sustainable AI model validation and data quality assurance.
Amidst the surging adoption of artificial intelligence, ensuring the integrity of data and models is a major challenge. Traditional validation methods rely on centralized infrastructures, which are prone to bias, inefficiencies, and security vulnerabilities. OVF provides a decentralized, trustless alternative, ensuring that AI models and datasets undergo rigorous, transparent, and community-driven validation processes.
